The Cupcake Girls take to the stage with the Hot Chilli Mamamas as back up to sing their signature song. Cupcake Girls by Jilly Boel. This was the official debut of the musical hit.

Beatles in the Bush

Our first major fundraising event was an evening of music provided by The Beatles and, Hot Chilli Mamamas at the Central Coast.
It was a huge success raising in excess of $2000.
We are wearing our driving pants that form another integral part of our uniform for the journey, particularly as we hit the warmer temperatures of north Queensland and the Northern Territory.

The Cupcake Girls Origination...

All the work began by doing presentations at Sanitarium, the Division and the school's in which we work. We had special frocks designed and made by Averill's sister Wendy which would make up our presenation wardrobe.

In the beginning............... there was an idea.

Then there was a dream.
Our idea was to participate in the 2007 Base to Bathurst Variety Bash.
Our dream was to raise $25,000 for Variety, the children's charity.

To get started we had a delicious dinner on the balcony at Nigel's for a photo shoot and a brainstorming session. It was a fun and very productive evening.

Origination of the Cupcake Girls

It all started with an idea, then a dream. This is a journal of how we made our dream a reality.
The name Cupcake Girls was inspired by the stunning costume of the cupcakes in Pricilla.
